Our worship service is a time to praise the Lord in Spirit and in the truth. To worship God through music is a Biblical practice (Psalm 27:4, Psalm 150:3-4, Eph. 5:18-19, Col. 3:16). Our hearts’ desire is to bring glory to Him (Rom 11:36).
Blending traditional and contemporary styles, we sing songs with lyrics that are doctrinally precise and Biblical in order to exalt our Lord and take the focus off ourselves. Our goal is to present a God-centered worship service rather than a man-centered service. A variety of instrumentation is used as accompaniment, but our voices serve as our main tool of praise.
Activities of Biblical Worship
Praise and adoration based on the person and work of God as revealed in Holy Scripture. Thanksgiving, Scripture reading, Confession of sin, Prayer, Baptism, Communion, Giving, Preaching and Application of the Word are all a regular part of our Sunday morning worship services.
